A company specializing in high-purity water systems located in San Clemente is looking for a Extrusion Membrane Operator.

The ideal candidate would have machine operation experience with plastics extruding or injection molding lines.

The hours are 8AM to 4 : 30PM. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Once hired by the company, there are excellent company benefits.

The starting pay is $22-$32 / hour.

The entry-level Membrane Operator I will assist in all aspects of manufacturing ion-exchange membranes. This includes :

• Set-up and operate equipment in Membrane Department, this includes :
• Flat sheet extruder and ancillary equipment
• Slitter / Sheeter
• Expansion / Regeneration Tanks and
• Test Cell

This person will be required to perform :

• Membrane inspection and testing
• Cut and package / palletized membrane for shipping
• Prepare membrane for EDI assembly
• Assist with membrane inventory
• Daily housekeeping

Education and / or Experience Required :

• High-school diploma or GED.
• Able to demonstrate mechanical and physical dexterity.
• An overall understanding of systems operation and execution.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with competence and follow instructions (written and oral).

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $22.00 - $32.00 Per Hour
